Pan Fry from Thawed (Recommended):
1. Heat 2 Tbsp. oil per lobster cake in pan over medium-high heat.
2. Carefully add lobster cakes to pan, cook 3 minutes.
3. Flip cakes, reduce heat to medium and cook an additional 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
4. Lobster cakes are finished when internal temperature reaches 165°F.

Bake from Thawed:
1. Preheat convection oven to 350°F.
2. Place lobster cakes on oiled sheet pan and bake at 350°F for 7-9 minutes.
3. Flip lobster cakes and bake for an additional 3-5 minutes.
4. Lobster cakes are finished when internal temperature reaches 165°F.

Bake from Frozen:
1. Pre-heat oven to 400°F.
2. Remove packaging and place lobster cakes on a lightly buttered baking sheet.
3. Cook for 13 minutes and flip the lobster cakes.
4. Cook for an additional 4-6 minutes.
5. Lobster cakes are finished when internal temperature reaches 165°F.

Thawing Cakes:
1. Defrost in the refrigerator 8-10 hours before cooking.
2. Quick thaw in microwave: place on a microwavable plate. Heat on high for 30 seconds, flip, and heat another 15 seconds. Microwaves vary, adjust time as needed. Do not fully cook in microwave.

Ingredients

1 lb. Phillips Pasteurized Lobster Meat
¼ cup mayo
1 egg
¼ cup plain breadcrumbs
¼ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, more if desired
2 tsp. Dijon mustard
1 tsp. chopped fresh parsley
Salt and pepper to taste
2 Tbsp. butter

Cooking Instructions
  • Place all ingredients in a bowl except lobster and butter.
  • Add lobster meat and gently mix ingredients, being careful not to break up any large chunks of lobster meat.
  • Shape into 3 oz. cakes and refrigerate for an hour.
  • Sauté cakes in a large frying pan with butter for about 6 minutes on each side, until browned and crispy.
