Cheesy Crabby Grits

An updated version of a Southern classic! Cheesy grits with a topping of sweet crab meat and a dusting of seafood seasoning for a hearty, delicious dish.

Cheesy Crabby Grits


8 oz. Phillips Crab Meat
Phillips Seafood Seasoning, to taste
1.5 cup water
6 Tbsp. quick-cooking grits
pinch of garlic salt
1/4 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

Cooking Instructions

  • Combine water, grits, and garlic salt in a small saucepan on medium high heat. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
  • Reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer, stirring occasionally, until desired consistency (about 7 minutes).
  • Remove from heat and stir in the cheddar cheese.
  • Divide into two bowls.
  • Add half of the crab meat to each bowl and garnish with Phillips Seafood Seasoning.
