Ingredients

6 fresh oysters
1 container Phillips Crab & Spinach Dip
2 strips of peppered smoked bacon
1 1/2 Tbsp. butter (softened)
1/3 cup fresh Parmesan cheese, shredded
1/2 lemon

Cooking Instructions
  • Thaw Phillips Crab & Spinach Dip in refrigerator until soft & chilled.
  • Preheat oven to 400° F.
  • Shuck six fresh oysters.
  • Heat pan over medium heat and saute bacon until the edges are browned (do not cook fully as it will finish cooking in oven.)

  • Remove bacon from pan once browned and coarsely chop into rough pieces.
  • In a bowl, stir together softened butter, bacon and Parmesan cheese.
  • Top oysters with cheese and bacon mixture.
  • Spritz top of each with a squeeze of lemon.
  • Bake for about 8-9 minutes until bacon is fully cooked through and cheese is melted.
  • Garnish with a thick slice of lemon.
